This is So Creepy: The 'Smiley Face' Murder Spree

In what reads like the premise of a horror film, several investigators say they've linked forty seemingly unrelated drowning deaths, which are spread over eleven states over the past decade, by a common trait: smiley faces spotted near where the bodies were found. In all instances, the victims were well-liked, athetic college guys who drowned mysteriously, usually after a night of drinking. The evidence suggests strongly that the drownings were not actually accidents but rather are part of a coordinated campaign by a group of killers.
